Ten years ago, life threw me a plot twist I did not see coming. I had just turned 50—supposedly the golden era, right? But instead of celebrating, I found myself untangling from a marriage, drowning in heartbreak, and wondering, What comes next?
Then one day, I made a choice. A bold, slightly terrifying, probably impulsive choice: I packed my bags and ran away to Tuscany. Not for a week, not for a month—three whole months.
And let me tell you… Tuscany didn’t just welcome me; it wrapped me up in rolling vineyards, golden sunsets, and slow, soul-soothing moments that forced me to just be. I painted. I danced under the stars. I ate pasta like it was my full-time job.
And somewhere between sips of Chianti and conversations with incredible local women (who spoke zero English but somehow understood me completely), I found something I hadn’t felt in years—myself.
These women, with their warmth, their wisdom, their unshakable belief that life moves in seasons, reminded me that I wasn’t ending—I was beginning.
That trip wasn’t just a vacation. It was a rebirth. Travel healed me in ways therapy never could. It showed me that adventure isn’t just for the 20-somethings with backpacks—it’s for us, the women who’ve lived, loved, lost, and are ready to rise again.
So now? This is my mission. To help other women—especially those over 50 who feel stuck, lost, or just done with settling—experience the healing power of travel. To give you a space to breathe, to rediscover joy, and to remember that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.
Tuscany changed me. And if you let it, it just might change you, too.
